Locum Register

Any BAPO member can display their details in the locum register by logging in and editing their profile.

BAPO provides a locum service for individuals seeking to privately employ qualified Prosthetists and Orthotists. All locums on the Register are BAPO members, but inclusion on the Register implies no recommendation or assurances on the part of BAPO. Conditions of employment are a matter for direct negotiation between the individual and the locum, and it remains the responsibility of the employer to evaluate any applicant.

BAPO reserves the right to identify an individual's listing on the locum register, with the term member under investigation, should a member be under investigation by BAPO's Ethical Committee or by the Health Professions Council as indicated on their website. BAPO will also reserve the right to remove a members listing from the locum register permanently should the complaint against them be founded.
